Bethlehem Youth, 2007-2008 Schedule
Weekly events:
9:30 AM Sundays: Sunday School. Classes for 6th grade, 7th and 8th grade and high school.
5:45 PM Youth Handbell Choir
Wednesday nights:
5 PM Youth Praise Band practices
5:30 PM Youth Choir rehearsal
6:30 PM Dinner for everyone
7 PM Youth Group, which consists of a game, some group worship, a lesson and small group discussions.

Upcoming special events:
September 8- Girls Night Out. Cost around $30.
September 22- Guys Night Out. Cost around $30.
October 21- Chili Cook-Off following morning worship services. A great fundraiser and church fellowship activity.
November 10-11- 30 Hour Famine. This fundraising and missions effort involves students fasting for 30 hours and having people pledge financial support. $25 cost and you have to raise at least $50 for WorldVision.
December TBA- Christmas Party. We are thinking about a progressive dinner…any one interested in hosting a part of it?
January 2-5: Breakthru. Breakthru is an ongoing retreat put together by several UMC churches from across the Southeast. It is open to both middle and high school students. The total cost is $150 per student, so this will make an excellent Christmas gift. $25 deposits are due in by October 24th and the balance of $125 is due by November 28th. More details are forthcoming.
February 8-10- Warmth in Winter Tennessee Conference event. For senior highers only! Details to be coming!
February 13- “Taste of…” fundraising dinner event. This event returns after a hiatus. We will serve dinner and provide entertainment for people.
March- TBA- Junior High Retreat…
June 14-21- Youth Choir Tour. Note the date change!
June 23-27- Vacation Bible School
